Arbor Day Volunteer
In celebration of Arbor Day 2010, the Tree Board members and Town staff welcome all interested residents and visitors to participate in a morning program devoted to learning how to take care of our local trees properly and how to keep them healthy.
Date: April 24, 2010
Place: The Ranch House, in River Valley Ranch (across the street from the Sales Office that’s in the large barn)
Time: Program will start at 8:30 AM with a presentation about pests affecting local trees by certified arborist Kim Bock of Prima Plant Services. Coffee will be served
9:30 – 12:00 Tree pruning workshop and a hands-on demonstration of pruning with Kamie Long, State Forester
12:30 – 1:30 Semi-potluck Lunch and time for discussions or questions at the Ranch House. Lunch will be provided, please bring a dessert to share.
