Arbor Day Volunteer
In celebration of Arbor Day 2009, the Tree Board members will be joined by Town staff and public volunteers. Arbor Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 25th at the new Carbondale Recreation Center ~ 500 Colorado Avenue, (next to Town Hall) 9:00 am -1:00pm. Bring gloves and work boots.
National Arbor Day was Founded by J. Sterling Morton in Nebraska in 1872. Arbor Day is celebrated each year on the last Friday in April.
